This policy describes general procedures for transferring eligible telephone numbers to or from BablyBox. Portability depends on number type, geography, carrier capabilities, authorization, and applicable rules.
Porting numbers to BablyBox
A Customer requesting a port must be authorized to transfer the number and must provide accurate information and documentation reasonably required to validate the request. This may include the current account name, service address, account number, PIN or passcode, billing information, a recent bill, and a Letter of Authorization.
Keep existing service active
Customers generally should not cancel existing service before a port completes. Premature cancellation may cause loss of service or loss of the number.
Timing
Port timing depends on the losing carrier, number type, accuracy of submitted information, regulatory requirements, and other factors. Estimated dates are not guarantees. BablyBox will not intentionally delay a valid port in or port out.
Porting numbers away
Subject to applicable law and valid authorization, Customers may port eligible numbers away from BablyBox. BablyBox may use reasonable authentication and fraud-prevention procedures to protect against unauthorized transfers.
Charges and outstanding obligations
Porting a number does not eliminate charges or contractual obligations incurred before the port or otherwise owed under an applicable agreement. BablyBox will not condition a legally required port solely on payment of a disputed balance where doing so is prohibited by law.
Unauthorized ports
Suspected unauthorized porting or account takeover should be reported immediately to support@bablybox.com.
